Good Morning

I’m lying in my bed and it’s pitch black. I really need to get up. I’m thankful to see the day even though I don’t want to get moving. The feeling to write has grabbed the keys to my brain and turned on the engine.

I have a long day ahead of me. Meetings and more meetings. Before I go, I’m going to lay here and appreciate the peacefulness of the morning. The morning sounds of silence and my box fan (Yes, a box fan in Oct in ND!).

Tranquility is in this room. I enjoy it. Quiet time with God getting ready for the day. There’s no better way to start it.
