Who doesn’t love traveling in the morning?!
Ok. You might not love it, but I do. Aside from not wanting to get out of my bed, early morning fights have the distinct advantage of getting to your destination earlier in the day. With that being said, I’m ready to go home. I’m riding on about three hours of sleep, and my bed sounds nice right now. Nonetheless, the day must go on.
I will take the time to soak in this San Francisco airport experience.
I arrived for an early morning flight with expectations of a bustling airport. The reality was people sleeping in chairs waiting for kiosks to open. In this age of being connected, I searched for an outlet/chair combo so I could write. A gentlemen was sitting there, and we began to talk. It was a very polite and engaging conversation. We discussed a variety of subjects. Being the talker that I am, I enjoyed every minute of communicating with another different from me. The other patron is from Brazil. That’s pretty cool.
Soon the kiosks opened up, and we went to check in. TSA regulations can be a pain, but they are understandable. Given the events of 9/11, precautions need to be taken. After the scramble to get my stuff together, I ventured off towards my gate.
I stopped for an early morning bite to eat. Denver omelette baby. While sitting there, I noticed a couple in the restaurant with a stroller. The lady reached in the stroller for what I thought would be a child. That’s logical, right?
Nope. It was a dog.
It looked like a poodle. Needless to say, I was astonished for a bit, then I remembered how much people love their pets and I let it go. I’m good as long as dog hair isn’t in my eggs 😉
After breakfast, I strolled to my gate. I arrived to a pile of people waiting to board. One lady grabbed her cranky toddler to board the plane. Said toddler is now having herself a good cry. Looks like this is gonna be a good one.
Stay tuned!
