I Don’t Want to Leave

I don’t want to leave my bed this morning. I’d like a day to lie here and veg; fall back to sleep and wake up refreshed. I guess that day should have been Saturday, but sometimes two days of rest sound better than one.

Most times two days sound better than one.

No matter, though. I have to get up. I have things to do, business to take care of, places to go (work), and people to see. Life does not stop because I want more REM. The world keeps spinning. People keep living. Life continues on, so I must make the most of the time given to me.

I wonder what I will encounter? I Whatever it may be, I pray God has prepared me and I handle the situation correctly. I expect blessings and good things. Daily benefits and His new mercies showered upon me.

That being said, I suppose it’s time to get up. The day awaits me. Or should I say, the greatness of the day awaits me.

Good morning Fresh Readers. Let’s pray we have a normal day. No killing. No hate. No useless distraction. No fussing and fighting. Treat people right. There is enough hate running rampant. Do a random act of kindness (without posting about it on social media. Keep your alms secret). Smile at someone. Hug someone. Laugh with someone. Talk to someone. Be joyous for someone. Give hope. Be a light in darkness.

Love someone today.

I’m out of bed now. I think today is going to be alright.

I love the do something kind without posting it on social media. People should want to help out of the goodness of their heart not for bragging or how many likes they can get. I do enjoy the good doers that I see online instead of all the sadness that fills my newsfeed but sometimes how it is presented makes me question. Everyday I wake up praying today is the day the world will become great again.

Sam that irritates me so much. It’s not hard to be a good person without broadcasting it to the world. That makes me question the intent of the act. I pray the same. We need something better in this world.
