November is National Novel Writing Month. Or, more affectionately known as NaNoWriMo.
For those that don’t know, this a writer’s attempt at completing their first novel. It has piqued my interest because writing a book seems like a daunting task. Where do you start? What do you write about? What’s the length? There are a lot of questions raised when even preparing to write a book. Understand that the goal of NaNoWriMo completing the first draft of your novel. This is an important step in the publishing process. There must be something to publish.
As I mull it over, I’m realizing I need to keep writing. I have to prepare myself. This is why I will be participating in Blog Like Crazy.
Blog Like Crazy was started by Javacia Harris Bowser over at See Jane Write. You can read more about it here. It is similar to NaNoWriMo in that I’ll be writing all November. The difference is that I’ll be posting every day as opposed to writing a book.
Yes, you read that correctly. I’ll be posting for 30 days straight. Every. Single. Day. Aren’t you excited? Yeah, I am too.
Get ready! It’s going to be an exploration of epic proportions.
