I’m always thankful to see a new year.
January always brings a fresh spirit of new beginnings. Anticipation. What does this year have in store? That’s how I feel anyway. By the time June hits the newness of the year has worn on me, and I’m loosely thinking about the holidays. Crazy, right? Life passes us by so quickly. Our thoughts are so forward. Our plans are always for tomorrow. We don’t take time to stop and be thankful for today. Tomorrow is not promised.
In that, we all have goals. Dreams. Things we want to achieve. Levels we want to reach. Today is January 3rd, and I’m ready to hit the ground running. I want more out of life. I want to be great. Not fame. There’s a difference. Greatness is the love of Christ flowing through me. It involves self-reflection, treating others right, and wisdom. I want my voice to be heard. Not for fame, but for change. I don’t want 2019 to be an ordinary year.
I want it to be the best ever!
I don’t know why, but this year is different. I’m excited! I’m ready. It’s time to achieve. 2019 is officially here. Let’s do this.
